If you have hydraulic disc brakes then do away with wheel chocks, blocks and rocks and install a simple hydraulic parking valve and lever and you have perfect movement control and safe solid braking. A simple valve automatically selects which hydraulic source (your hydraulic brake controller) or your manual parking brake.
